Warm Weather Procedures

We take every care to ensure that your chocolates reaches you in reasonable condition during the warm summer months. This includes:

· Upgrading to First Class postage when necessary at no extra cost to you, thus ensuring next day delivery

· Avoiding despatch on Fridays so that chocolates are not in the Post Office over the weekend

· The special message to the postman on the envelope attached to the box

· Storing the chocolates in controlled conditions until the last moment before despatch

· Minimising the time from production to despatch to ensure maximum freshness

You may also choose to have your chocolates delivered to your work address so that you can store them in a cool place as soon as they arrive. Simply let us know on your next payment slip.

Chocolates can also be stored in your fridge during exceptionally hot spells, but please do seal the box in a plastic bag first. This prevents excessive moisture from damaging the chocolates. Lightly melted chocolates can be re-formed in this way.

We do realise, however, that sometimes despite our best efforts the occasional box may arrive having been damaged by the heat. If you have any problems at all during the summer, then please contact us straight away on 08444 933 933.
